Comfort System.
Inside or outside? It depends on your space and preference. Check out these real-world setups to get inspired.
The best choice for max efficiency and security. It eliminates duct heat loss for faster cooling, while keeping your unit safe from theft and weather.
The best choice for saving interior space. It keeps your sleeping area clear for comfort, while the short duct path ensures maximum cooling efficiency.
The best choice for utilizing exterior gear. It secures the unit to side or rear mounts to save cabin space, ideal for compact 4x4s or rigs with full roofs.
(Note: Ensure mount size is min 24"x12" / 60x30cm and rated for 55lbs / 25kg.)
The best choice for ultimate flexibility. It requires no mounting hardware and isolates vibration for quieter sleep. Simply run the ducts up to your RTT, or even an annex.
To maximize cooling efficiency, follow the golden rule: create a closed loop. Connecting two ducts is critical as it ensures the unit vents heat fully outside or recirculates pre-cooled air, rather than constantly battling hot ambient air.
Some hard-shell tents come with pre-cut HVAC ports. This offers the cleanest look. But first check your port size:
No ports? Don't cut your canvas. Our custom foam board adapter allows you to route ducts through any window or door.

Cooling creates water. To avoid unexpected wet spots, install the drain tube before turning on the Mark 3.
This is the simplest setup. Just let the drain tube hang vertically down the side of your vehicle or rack.
Tip: Ensure the tube end is not blocked or submerged in mud.
You have two options to keep your floor dry:
Note: Back pressure or airlocks will cause pump failure. Please ensure no submerging, no kinks, and no sealed containers.
The Mark 3 operates on a high-efficiency 48V system. Choose the power method that fits your journey.
Plan your power usage. The Mark 3 Battery is designed to last the night and recharge on the go.
Unlike a house, your roof top tent is built from thin fabric with limited insulation. Under direct sunlight, heat penetrates rapidly and creates a greenhouse effect.
The Mark 3 is designed to create a comfortable, dry sleeping climate, typically lowering the temperature by 15–25°F below ambient. For maximum cooling on hot days, we recommend adding an insulation liner or parking in the shade. This simple step blocks solar heat and locks the cold air inside where it belongs.
Pro Tip: Turn on the Mark 3 to pre-cool your sleeping area 15–20 minutes before bed.
