An EMS helper - ZERO BREEZE Mark 2

Emergency medical services are also known as ambulance services or paramedic services. This is a politically significant aspect of health service delivery. EMSs are the first contact point for various patients. EMS workers provide urgent pre-hospital treatment and stabilization for patients with serious illnesses and injuries. Their responsibilities create an inherent risk of injury and illness on the job. Research shows high fatal and non-fatal injuries and illness rates among EMS workers. As a humanitarian company, we respect the workers who contribute to medical care, and we care for patients who are suffering in the heat.

Not only on outdoor adventure trips, but Mark 2 air conditioner is also great in many fields. Numerous customers mentioned that they purchased the ZERO BREEZE Mark 2 for a loved one with a condition that causes loss of body temperature control. Some health disorders affect your body's ability to regulate your body temperature. Examples include an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism), poor nutrition or anorexia nervosa, diabetes, stroke, severe arthritis, Parkinson's disease, trauma, and spinal cord injuries. When the body's ability to thermoregulate becomes disrupted, it can cause overheating (hyperthermia) or being overly cool (hypothermia). Either state can have deleterious effects on various body systems, most notably reducing blood flow, leading to ischemia and multiple organ failure (mayoclinic.org). We are glad that ZERO BREEZE Mark 2 is able to provide such help to these people with special needs.

Mark 2 in medical service

Whether you are at a football game, a music festival or a sporting event, EMTs who provide medical services at an event need to respond quickly to any call for help. Responding quickly is half the equation to success. Having the right tools to render proper care is the other half. Mark 2 can be a huge help to those medical tents.

We recently donated a ZERO BREEZE Mark 2 to an EMS service. They are The Town of Newburgh EMS, a non-government agency that currently receives ZERO TAX DOLLARS and ZERO FUNDING from The Town of Newburgh, Orange County, The State of New York, or any federal agency. They are a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1967, serving our community with 24/7 emergency medical services. Their members, numbering nearly 70 volunteer and paid staff, responded to over 3,800 911 calls this year, making them one of the busiest EMS agencies in Orange County, NY. In addition, they provide training courses for the community and neighboring EMS agencies.

A way to keep our members, firefighters, and patients cool

"We are currently looking for a way to keep our members, firefighters, and patients cool while operating out of our field hospital tents. "

They were using traditional fans and mist fans. On a hot summer's day, however, these methods are simply not cutting it. The ZERO BREEZE Mark 2 works great in a medical tent. It is easy to set up and requires no installation. This means EMSs can take it with them wherever they go. It is also small and does not take up too much space in the tent, while the ZERO BREEZE unit quietly keeps patients and fellow responders cool.

Donations from ZERO BREEZE

"Without donations from companies like yours, our agency would not be able to survive and provide the top-notch EMS services we currently do."

We love the AC unit.

"We absolutely love this unit already! We used it this past weekend at an event and it was perfect!"

"Huge thank you to our friends at ZERO BREEZE for their donation of the Mark 2 Portable Air Conditioner. This awesome unit has been placed in service to be used at standby and prolonged emergency scenes to cool down members of the public and our fellow first responders in our treatment tents! "

We are honored to help EMSs, and this makes us feel significant about what we have been doing with Mark 2. It is our earnest desire to pass on this meaning to even more people, so that they can understand what we are capable of; So that people in need understand that we are excited and that we can help them.
