Great for tent and roof top tents

I don't have my full tent set up yet because I live on kauai, hawaii. I got it because where I live our house gets really hot. I only need one place to get cold to be able to cool and calm down and that's what the zero breeze did. A couple things that would need to get improved on is the condensation on the tubing gets everything wet. We put towels under it to keep everything else dry.

Hi Jessica, thank you for reaching out and bringing this issue to our attention. We understand that the condensation accumulating on the tubing is causing water to drip, and this is resulting in surrounding items becoming wet. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused . This issue typically arises when condensation forms on the air conditioning tubing, but due to improper drainage or installation, the water may not be effectively channeled away. We recommend the following steps to resolve the issue:

1. Ensure the condensation drain line is clear and unobstructed for proper water flow.
2. Check the tubing for any loose fittings or leaks.
3. If using a container to collect condensation, avoid using a sealed container, and make sure the drain outlet is not fully submerged—leave some space between the outlet and the water level.
If the issue persists after these checks, please contact us for further assistance.

There's a reason the new Mark 3

Performance and Cooling:
The Zero Breeze Mark 2 effectively cooled our tent during a 78-degree evening. However, we encountered some issues with drainage that significantly impacted our overall experience.

Drainage Issues and Mark 3 Improvements:
While the Mark 2 required careful positioning to prevent condensation from pooling, it's likely that the Mark 3 addresses these drainage concerns. The increased BTU capacity of the Mark 3 suggests that the manufacturer may have made improvements to overall performance, including drainage. This is especially significant given the Mark 2's limitations in cooling larger tents or spaces during warmer summer conditions.

Overall Impression:
While the Mark 2 can effectively cool a tent, the drainage issue was a significant drawback. However, the Mark 3's improvements in cooling capacity and potential drainage enhancements make it a more appealing option for those seeking a powerful and reliable portable AC unit for outdoor use under normal conditions. Not sure how many of us have an insulated tent??

Additional Recommendations:
For those considering the Mark 2, I recommend investing in the pigtail connector, which allows you to use the battery with the A/C adapter. This provides more flexibility and convenience. The proprietary connectors are overpriced and unnecessary, they should just include the stupid pigtail in the unit with battery solution, but why address what would seem obvious before getting the negative feedback?

Conclusion:
If you're looking for a portable AC unit with increased cooling power and potentially improved drainage, the Mark 3 is worth considering. However, if you're on a budget and the Mark 2's performance and limitations is sufficient for your needs, it's still a viable option.

Hi, thank you so much for your detailed feedback on both the Mark 2 and Mark 3! We truly value customer input, especially regarding the drainage issue and overall user experience you've mentioned.

We’ve received similar feedback about the drainage challenges with the Mark 2, and happy to confirm that the Mark 3 addresses this. Not only does it have increased cooling capacity, but it also features improved drainage design, making it perform better in higher temperatures and larger spaces.

As for the pigtail connector, we completely understand your point. Your suggestion is very valuable, and we will pass this feedback along to our product team. We’re always looking for ways to make our products more convenient and ensure customers get the best possible experience right out of the box.

If you have any further questions about the Mark 3 or need more detailed information, we’d be happy to assist. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and for your continued support!

It's filled The Personal Cooling niche -- 'best to focus on that!

I built a similar 12 volt A/C from a "Rigid"/China chassis. I really understand the ZB2. It is absolutely the best personal cooling solution on the market today. It has the perfect "minimalist" power balance to cool one or 2 people -- with careful preparation. Personally I see it as survival gear -- it rescued me from a 1 week power outage after a Hurricane hit Houston on July 8 2024. It actually cooled a small well-insulated bedroom -- after 12 hours of apparently cooling the tile floor. My cheap generator did no harm to the ZB2 AC/DC power block either. I bought another one after the hurricane, What a deal!

Great A/C

I recentley purchased this A/C for camping and its been amazing! Cools down my car pretty quickly and the battery adds portability that I previously thought was impossible for an AC. Im very excited to try other products from this company as this unit did not disappoint. Happy Adventuring!
